A Little About Me
Lisa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Clinical Director at WellxNess. Alongside her leadership role, she provides psychotherapy directly to adults and couples.
Before becoming a therapist, she worked in healthcare account management and organizational leadership. That earlier career brings an additional perspective to her work with professional stress and competing demands.
Who I Work With
Lisa works with adults and couples who want to communicate more clearly, navigate conflict, and deepen emotional connection. Therapy may also explore how stress and competing demands affect close relationships.
She supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. Her work is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming.
My Approach to Therapy
Lisa’s approach is collaborative, practical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. She helps clients understand recurring patterns and develop more effective ways to communicate and connect.
She draws on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and family-systems and relational approaches. Her work also incorporates extensive Gottman Method training.
